They are awesome display animals and great for school and university study. This species is still somewhat rare and hard to get. Any roach in the Eublaberus family is a great feeder because of their hardiness and bulk but they also make great composters. You can add your salad waste, garden waste and table scraps to the colony and watch it disappear! These guys will eat just about anything which makes them such a great pick for starting your own colony or purchase to feed any insect eating pets. I have fed many of these to dragons and they can't get enough of them! These are especially good for animals that like a challenge since they are fast ,huge and feisty. Get them while you can, I am listing them as they become available and supplies are very limited. The frass (poo) is also considered to be a great fertilizer and requires no composting so this is especially valuable to organic gardeners. These can be raised indoors to get rid of green waste and place directly on your house plants or patio garden. Perfect for city folk with their carbon footprint in mind, not to mention convenience.
