As they are shiny metallic they are difficult to photograph as they glow in the sun. Currently kept outdoors in my pond in San Diego, CA. They can handle a wide variety of water parameters and temperatures. They have been known to over winter under ice and below freezing temperatures, but also may be kept indoors. When a group is ordered I will provide a mix of male and female. These fish breed easily and attach their eggs to plants or spawning mops. SHIPPING/PACKAGING: Shipping is via FEDEX 2 day. I will typically only send orders on Monday or Tuesday to prevent any delays occurring over weekend. I provide HEAT PACK and INSULATION if your weather temperature requires it for the health of the fish. The fish will be fasted for 1-2 days to prevent polluting the water in the bag. The bag they are shipped in are breather bags to allow for exchange of oxygen through the bag. DO NOT FLOAT BREATHER BAGS during temperature acclimation in your tank, or it will prevent oxygen exchange and may suffocate your fish. GUARANTEE: Live arrival guarantee if proof of dead on arrival is provided within 2 hours of delivery timestamp with 3 pictures of fish inside of bag. Price of fish will be refunded.
