Please note that “carton” sleeves are made of very light-weight carton, I would rather say heavy weight paper, in addition blister doesn't provide support for it. As a result its very fragale and creases and rips very easily, therefore usually its arrives in very poor condition. It is AS IS! In my personal opinion as a collector all models presented here are decent quality and scores high on price to quality ratio. On a display shelf it will proudly stand its ground to premium quality brands as Minichamps, Premium Classixxs, Shuco, etc. Saying that, you need to remember that it a different price range product that few times less expensive vs those brands products. Obviously it yields in detailing level, especially interior and undercarriage which you will notice with a close distance inspection. Numerous models from different truck series were released under ixo Models Brand. In my personal opinion as a collector: models from this series show the highest level of detailing, paint job and assembly that I've seen for AKA Magazine / Press Series yet. Its definitely exceed reasonable expectations for this range of models. Colorful, bright its displaying great and brings “life” on a display shelf. Models for the series were produced by Altaya brand of PCT, which also owns iXO MODELS Brand name. ORIGINAL PRICE WAS 22. EUOR approximately $25.00. Models comes with a full display case with background insert that features pictures related to the model. “Officine Meccaniche or OM was an Italian car and truck manufacturing company. In my opinion, overall detailing is good. Some models are above and beyond that, you could expect from a magazine release. Paint job usually very good, level of undercarriage detailing is not bad at all; some models are really good (separate frame, imitations of axles, engine oil pan, gearbox, separate details drive shafts, painted exhaust system, reservoirs, etc.) but it varies. The interior is basic. Well balanced price to quality ratio, and it was outstanding for the price of the subscription ON A SHELF IT DISPLAYS SOLID NEXT TO UPSCALE TRUCK MODELS FROM Minichamps, Schuco, Premium Classixxs, and Norev retails at 2-4 times the price tag.. ABOUT Partworks Series of Die-cast models (AKA – Magazine or Press Editions): In the last decade, such series became very popular in West and especially East Europe. Models for these series are ordered by a publishing house (a distributor) from a model maker company. Some series featured models produced by different manufacturers. Models could be specially developed for a series or based on previously released by respectable model makers brands, but somewhat simplified and/ or modified accordingly to distributor specifications and targeted market. Please note that a vehicle model issued in different series could have a different level of detailing and/or quality. Usually, it is based on a targeted market (collectors demand and/or average income} For example German market shows the highest level and includes a full display. UK – models produced in high level but don't have clear display cover; models for East European countries (former Socialism Block) show maximum simplifications vs its analogs issued in W. European Series. For example, unpainted interiors, omission of some small parts (exhaust system, license plates, etc,) no display cover, simplified display base, or even no base at all (blister attached to a carton), reduced quality of assembly, paint job, etc. As they say “the devil is in the details”. My personal opinion about Altaya brand products produced for partworks series. – models are displaying very well. At the same time level of detailing, I would describe it as decent and for some models as a good one for the exterior. The interior though is very basic. For its price range, models are scoring high on the price to quality ratio. The big advantage of the series is its affordability and unchallenged selection of models. As a collector, I love to have truck models displayed along with cars and buses (with some figurines) which, makes the display looks much more realistic and provides a good perspective on vehicle size.
