Description: Nice little book of devotionals originally printed in Ansbach by Johan Valentine Luders; re-printed in the New World by Andreas Billmeyer, part of a community of early German-American printers. In good condition, this has a nice leather binding. There is some doodling inside, done in ink, as well as the name “Cletus Brown” written in pencil. The doodling in at front and back but there is no writing within the actual text. Nicely laid out text with 144 pages. There is some foxing and the paper has yellowed from age. On verso of title page are the names “Albert S Loucks” and “Amy A. Miller” in what appears to be a modern hand.
