Description: 1825 CAPPED BUST DIME LARGE DENTILS NGC MS 63 CRISP WHITE WITH A TOUCH OF CREAM and amber. Excellent luster for this nearly 2 century old coin. Well struck overall, with some weakness at the Eagle's head. The reverse is rotated about 45 degrees clockwise. For the entire Large Dentils, Large Diameter Dime Type, spanning 1809 through 1828, only 4.6 million coins were struck. For both NGC and PCGS combined, the total population, for the Type, in MS 63 is around 350, with about 750 better, regrades not even considered here. A scarce and endearing piece.
