The eulogies were delivered by Edward Everett and Daniel Webster on August 1st and August 2nd 1826, shortly after the passing of Jefferson and Adams. Amazingly, Jefferson and Adams died on the same day - the Fourth of July, 1826 - only hours apart from one another. The eulogies have been custom-bound into hardcovers with three-quarter leather and gilt accents.
