It is from an 1844 edition of Olney's School Atlas, published by Pratt, Woodford and Co., New York, a copy of the title page is included. It has a copyright date of 1844 by by D.F. Robinson in small print and was drawn and engraved by Sherman & Smith, NY as stated in the bottom right margin. It is not framed, matted or mounted, being sold as a single map as seen in the main pic photographed against a dark background. Overall, a nice historic map with very strong original hand color and an antique appearance that would frame up well.Condition: It is in Good overall condition for its age, on a flexible page with a centerfold as issued. There is about a two inch split at the bottom of the centerfold, light handling around the margins, general edge wear, bent and rounded corners, see the pics for more on condition.
