Description: Offered here is a 1859 Seated Liberty Half Dollar, a coin that has been Graded and Certified AU 55 by NGC. The surfaces are lusterous, with a bare trace of coppery toning on the upper obverse near the rim. I see no marks, scratches, or rim issues to report. I doubt that this coin ever did circulate. Over the years non-collector storage methods did not preserve the Uncirculated nature of this coin. It is a nice, original coin.
