With a small plate to the front endpaper tipped-in that reads 'Mr. E. Adams with regards from Andrew Taylor'. Illustrated with forty woodcuts throughout the novel. CONDITION In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and also to the extremities. Light fading to the spine. Light spots to the fore edge. Light spots to the front and rear pastedown, with offsetting to the front and rear endpapers. Small plate to the front endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned.
