Description: Very nice engraving removed from Harper's weekly 1882-- Pictures Chicago White Stockings -- ( N.L.) team --11 members including baseball pioneers Cap Anson and King Kelly. Print itself is 8" x 9" and has been mated to 12" x 13" --(from volume XXVI No. 1347). Picture area in very good shape-- ( i show it with matting and with matting pulled away). I have seen multiple Harper's and Leslie's prints-- in complete papers and removed for scrapbooks or framing -( like this one)--- have never seen one colorized. A process done by hand in the late 1800's after an item was removed from a publication for the purposes of display. Very unique item-- with baseball immortals captured in time. Free shipping
