Description: As the photo illustrates, 1890 was the 4th RAREST of all GSA HOARD Carson City Morgans behind only the 1889, 1892, and 1893 which, of course, have only 1 of each in existence. There were only 3949 of the 1890 GSA Hoard in existence, but what makes this one even more RARE and VALUABLE is that it was graded in the GSA holder, something NGC only began doing since January 1st, 2003. Recognize these GSAs were released in the 70s, that's over 30 years of breaking the GSA holder open to grade. Only the past 20 or so years have they been graded in their holder. So that number of 3949 is DRASTICALLY reduced. Good luck.
