This includes where the individual earned his undergraduate degree and his date and place of death. Sometimes additional information is available. For example, James West Pegram of the class of 1825 was killed by the explosion of a steamboat on the Ohio River on October 23, 1844 (the "Lucy Walker" steamboat disaster). Edward Sprague Rand, class of 1829, was lost on the steamboat "City of Columbus" in Vineyard Sound on January 18, 1884. Eugene Fuller of the class of 1838 died on June 21, 1859 when he was "Lost from the steamer 'Empire City' on the way from New Orleans to New York". The Geographical List indicates the city and state where graduates resided. For example, William Edwin Boyd of the class of 1854 had resided in Selma, Alabama. Finally, the Alphabetical List indicates where the graduate resided, the year he entered Harvard Law School and the year he left the Law School. For example, Frederick Randolph Abbe resided in Boston and entered the Law School on Sept. 28, 1848 and left the school in 1849. (Note that all those who entered the school did not stay there for the full course of instruction).
