Description: For sale today is a scarce block on this 1917 $1 "sawhorse" United States Note. This is the Fr 37 with Elliott-Burke signatures. This signature was typically printed in the D-A to K-A blocks. They transitioned over to the Fr 38 Elliott-White signature towards the end of the K block. It is rare to see a Burke signature note in the M serial numbers. It took me quite a while to add one of these to my collection as they just aren't out there. This note features a lower 7 digit serial ending with a fancy triple 8. This note grades Fine in my opinion with a little bit of rough edges starting. Otherwise still a solid note with great color remaining on the printing. Please check scans and judge grade for yourself. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
