I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is an amazing piece of postal history from 1917 when the United States was entering World War I. It is an elaborate advertising entire for EFECTOS ELECTRICOS en GENERAL de OSCAR GODINEZ located at Neptuno 69 in Habana. An additional straight line rubber stamp suggests Godinez had recently partnered with "Valmana". The detailed allegory of light/electricity with her cornucopia of electrical products was engraved by Propiedad Trujillo Sanchez-Habana-Amparado Por La Ley. The envelope was mailed with two one cent stamps from 1914 to The Chelten Electric Company on Armat Street in Philadelphia. It appears they were active between 1914 and 1922. The entire is complete except for a small portion of the back flap. It is 6 1/2" by 3 1/2". Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
