Description: This 1918 D Lincoln Cent seems to be in almost uncirculated condition, with some of it's initial luster, but it has many imperfections which appear to me to be caused during the minting process. Upon close examination, it has many pits, gouges, scratches, pimples and rough spots that seem to have been made under high temperature, which implies to me that they are mint errors. Notice also the upside-down extra "D" mintmark below the 8 in the date.
