The race with the "Shamrock IV" Sir Thomas Lipton's latest challenger will take place off Sandy Hook July 15. Left to right, Arthur Adams of Boston; John Parkinson of Boston, who was Lt. Commander of the U.S.S. Chester doing patrol duty in European waters and also served on U.S. Navy transports during the war and who is navigator of the Resolute; Robert W. Emmons II of Boston, managing owner of the Resolute which files his flag; George A. Cormack of New York, Secretary of the New York Yacht Club; and Charles Francis Adams II of Boston, brother of Arthur Adams and helmsman of the Resolute. Photo measures 12.75 x 9.5 inches.
