Description: The Details 1920's Watermans 452 Ideal Sterling Silver Fountain Pen Clip CapP43/INV NOT WORKING/NEEDS INK SAC/SMALL RESTORATION I TRT TO LIST WHAT I SEE SO HOPEFULLY THERE ARE NO SURPRISES. Is this Watermans perfect, NO, is it clean yes. There are surface scratches and minor dings to the silver, a few small dents also, dent at the lever fill opening. Cap top edge has some wear on the edge. All markings on the silver are clear, 452 on the end, markings on the barrel end in the HR are there yet faint, legible with a loupe. Small tool mark to the section. Some discoloring/fading to the black. Interior of pen is clean. Lever functions fine, I think it is a pressure plate, not loose still intact. No cracks to the nib which also has good tipping, the NIB is a EH CO #3 14k Threads on the barrel are good. Caps and post nicely. This has been polished up, has not been buffed thou.
