Description: Up for sale is the tough 1928-C $2 Red Seal Legal Tender / United States Note. Short printing on this transition note that has the Julian/Morganthau signatures and micro size plate numbers that make this a series semi-key, far scarcer than the later 1928-D,F,G notes that make up most of the population. Even tougher to find these in a decent grade, as these were true workhorses of the economy and people used to pull the corners off $2 bills for good luck. Neat full house serial number with three 4's and a pair of 5's would have made this a good poker note!
