Description: This 4 x 6" photo has been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it with glossy format on quality photo paper. Please note that the photo is printed from a .tif file, much sharper than .jpg or .gif file. This is a view of swimmers and sunbathers on Kennebunk Beach in the 1930's/40's. Great detail of the summer cottages, the small wooden "boardwalk", and families enjoying the day. Excellent condition, very sharp and clear, perfect for framing.
