Description: Up for your consideration is a vintage hand painted Franciscan Desert Rose Open Demitasse Sugar Bowl that measures 5" from handle to handle and 2" tall. This demitasse sugar bowl is in good vintage condition with the exception of the chips under each of the handles. Since the chips are under the handles they really can't be seen unless you turn the bowl over. It is marked with the round Franciscan "Hand Decorated" mark which dates from 1940 until 1947. Desert Rose was the second pattern created by the Franciscan company in 1941. This very popular pattern sports pink wild roses, light brown thorny branches, and green leaves. This hard-to-find demitasse sugar bowl will make a wonderful addition to your Franciscan Desert Rose collection. Please make sure to visit my eBay store "Robin's Vintage Finds" as I have listed several other hard to find Apple, Desert Rose, Ivy, October, and Starburst pieces. I love to combine shipping whenever possible in order to save you money.
