St. Louis Browns, Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates in the MLB These Baseball Menko Cards were made in 1949. This set is Catalogued as JCM 78 in the Japanese Baseball Card Catalog. About 1/2 of the 25+ players known in this set are from the San Francisco Seals of the PCL. These Cards are fairly Rare overall. They are ranked R3, meaning est. between 11-99 of ea. card known. Walt Judnich San Francisco born and raised Judnich played Pro Ball from 1935 to 1955. He played in the MLB from 1940-1949 with the St.L Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He began in San Francisco Seals of the PCL during 1949, he also played with the Seattle Rainiers and Portland Beavers of the PCL. He played mainly Centerfield and 1st Base. in his 7 MLB seasons (1943-1945 in military service).
