1950s Sheaffer Admiral Snorkel Fountain Pen, 14k #5 Med Nib. Restored EUC Video

Description: Very nice condition restored Schaefer Admiral snorkel fountain pen, which is one of the most highly engineered fountain pens in existence. It has a 14k open gold nib marked #5. I fully disassembled this pen and ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner before replacing the original rubber ink bladder with a longer lasting silicone version. (See pictures for rebuild process). The pen was then reassembled & polished to a vibrant black and gold finish and loaded with blue Pelikan ink using the pneumatic touchdown filler. If you are new to the touchdown system, please check out one of the many YouTube videos, and it will make more sense. The pin writes very smoothly and just a tad on the wetter side. Please see the video and all pictures for exact condition. The pen will be shipped clean and dry (without ink) to keep the nib from getting gummed up. You will need to purchase some ink of your color choosing. For reference, I used Pelikan Tinte’ 4001 ink for demonstration.
