Description: This set of 9 Baltimore Orioles from the 1957 is in very good shape. Set includes: Bob Hale #406 Well centered, good corners, good portrait, no creases, stains, paper damage, pen or pencil marks. Back looks new. Only thing wrong with this card is that it's not of a better player :) Gus Triandos #156 Another well centered card with no creases or stains. However someone sometime wrote very lightly on his forehead the number 4 in pencil. There also is a number 2 written in the lower left border. Corners all show some signs of wear. Back is good. Don Ferrarese #146 Portrait is clear and clean and card has good corners with no stains or paper tears. However there is a small diagonal crease crossing the upper left hand corner. Back is fine. George Zuverink #11--Another very well centered card with no stains or pen/pencil marks. There is a small diagonal crease in the upper right corner and some gum residue in the far right edge of the card. Corners and back are good. Jose Fornieles #116 Very good looking portrait, nice corners, no tears, creases, stains or writing on it. Back is unremarkable. A very good card. Bob Nieman #14 Decent centering, corners show signs of wear. No creases or stains. Someone wrote the number 1 though in the lower right side border. It is in pencil though so maybe it can be erased? Back is good. Tito Francona #184 Terry Francona's dad! This card is very well centered, has no stains or creases but somebody had to write a number 1 in the lower right border and a number 2 in the green field background. Both in pencil. Oh wait, there's one more: the number 8 on Tito's forehead. I don't know what kind of card game they were playing with these cards, but I'm confused. Lower left corner a little smushed. On back, lower left corner shows signs of wear. Ray Moore #106--Lower corners are fairly rounded and lower left a little smushed. Vertical crease in upper right corner. No other creases, no stains, no annoying pen or pencil marks. back is okay. Bob Boyd #26--This is the kinda okay card. Well centered but shows lots of signs of wear. Rounded corners, hotizontal crease at about eye level, the number 1 written in pencil on his right sleeve. Back shows an additional crease in upper right corner.
