1960-70s Susie Sad Eyes Susie Slicker Brunette Doll 8” Pink Raincoat

Description: This is a collectible and increasingly scarce estimated 1960-70s Hong Kong-made 8” tall Susie Sad Eyes also known as Susie Slicker, in its original plastic and vinyl doll, wearing its original pink raincoat and black leggings / stockings. No hat, no boots. Brunette hair, big brown eyes and pale pink lips. Marked Made in Hong Kong on upper back. Markings on back of head are faint and appear to be: “L. (With a bell symbol) N Reg. Design 915/66 A Made in Hong Kong” No shoes/boots. The doll has long straight rooted brunette hair, crooked bangs as is the norm for this doll, and big brown eyes rimmed in brown. This version does not have the normal faint green and black shadowing around each eye. Jointed and moveable arms at the shoulders, legs at the hips and head/neck. The arms are a softer flexible plastic than the legs. Bright pink vinyl raincoat has three metal snap fasteners down the front for closure. Black cotton-polyester opaque tights / leggings. No tags on apparel and no box, boots, nor hat with the doll Condition: Very good vintage condition. There are imperfections such as a bit of face paint loss on the mouth and hair frizziness due to age. Mild dust, mustiness and grime from age and storage on doll and apparel. Raincoat is pliable and color is consistent and bright. Snaps are snug. The tights have many holes and elastic is no longer present at waist but they stay up on the doll.
