Simply remove your old column, saving your original under dash mount and floor mount. A rag joint is required for installation and is used to attach the column to the gearbox. Please note that with this column there will be space differences when using an original or aftermarket steering wheel. With an original wheel, the column will be 1/2" closer to the driver and with an aftermarket wheel, the column will sit 1-1/2" closer to the driver. These columns will also require installation kits that are not included but are available from Ididit. For 1963 cars using the original harness you will need kit #3003004001, for 1964-66 cars using the original harness you will need #30030040003.
