Description: Having been in the entertainment business for many years, I’ve booked numerous artists. Being a guitarist myself, one of my biggest thrills was to book BB King. After the concert I had the opportunity to visit with him for over an hour in his dressing room. I asked him to sign my Lucille. He picked it up, played several licks on it and said to me, “Looks like you have played this one a bit”. My response, “Yes, indeed I have!” This 42 year old BB King autographed vintage guitar comes with a JSA LOA #356097. I will also include a BB King 30” x 40” poster of the concert that I had booked him for. This guitar, despite its age is in great shape! I recently had my luthier check it out. It plays and sounds great. There is some corrosion on the humbucker covers as you can see in the photo. I’m told this is not unusual for gold plated hardware of this age. My luthier said I could replace the covers of the humbuckers, however his advice was to keep it original. He said it gave it character. Why am I selling this prized possession? I’m retired, not getting any younger, and it’s time to move it on to someone else who will appreciate it as much as I have!
