Description: 1993 DAVID BAUM New Orleans French Quarter Artist Original Painting--24"X24" Original painting of "Cowboy" passing in front of the St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans. The painting features bold oranges and greens. It is in very fine condition with no faults noted. Measures 24" by 24" by 3/4" thick. Muslin fabric stretched over a wooden frame. Painting was collected, but never framed or displayed. This painting was in the personal collection of sci-fi author and illustrator Richard Bergeron, 1962 winner of the Hugo Award.David Baum studied Fine Art at California State University Long Beach. He was a licensed painter in historic Jackson Square in the New Orleans French Quarter between 1991-1995 and again between 2009-2010. His paintings were also sold in Peligro Art Gallery in the French Quarter. Baum is currently represented by The Attic Gallery in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
