This is a very nice Antique 100 year old 1st Edition / 1st Printing by Wm Wise & Co copy of Elbert Hubbard's Scrap Book bound by The American Book Stratford Press in New York City. The red hardcovers are in great condition with normal foxing of pages for a book of this age. It measures 10" high x 7" wide x 1.25" thick at 240 large type pages including the interesting Index. Hubbard was a pioneer and proponent of the American Arts and Crafts Movement who died along with his wife in the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915. No markings, rips or tears on any pages, but note the former owner's name and address in fine ink on the inset / inside front cover (see last photo).
