Description: This is a lot of two (2) 1967 Jefferson Airplane - Somebody to Love - 7" Vinyl 45 Promo Records in VG+ to EXC condition.Actual items are shown, please see photos closely.Red label 47-9140 is more EXC in physical grading appearance, while white label 47-9140 is a VG+ as physically graded, mostly due to several manufacturing defects (surface "pinhead" bumps) which detract from the grade. They have been play tested and both sound great (VG+ or maybe a little better on average). Some pops and crackles in the fades are light, while some fairly rare instances of background noise can be heard in the low volumes of the tracks. Sleeves are the vintage green and are in very good to better condition with some light wear and minor discoloration. Records are well cleaned by hand with a vinyl cleaning solution and microfiber cloth, but NOT an ultrasonic bath. Note to grading scale: Mint - Covers and records that deserve the MINT grade must appear perfect, no cutouts, no rim wear, plastic completely intact all around (no tears) with little to no wear or discoloration. Near Mint - We will use NEAR MINT (or NM-) for an unsealed record, if it clearly is in great condition. No scuffs, no scratches to the playable surface. May have one or two very minor imperfections. The best we will often assign is the next lower grade - Excellent (EXC+, or EXC++). Excellent - (EXC+, or EXC++). Very few imperfections. It should play strong with no, to almost none, noticeable distracting sounds effects or interference with the music. Very Good Plus (VG+, or VG++). Physically in great condition with some minor scratches, or other defects that do not significantly affect play, like a few/several weak/slight paper scuffs, and/or hairlines. Some minor noticeable imperfections particularly allowed in fades, such as light snaps, pops, crackles. Very Good (Very Good VG, Very Good Minus, VG-). Noticeable imperfections (some scuffs, some scratches). Play should not have over-bearing snaps, pops, crackles, but these should have no skips on the huge majority of players. Good (G+, G) - We strive not to sell (and almost always do not sell) records graded less than a strong VG-, unless it is highly collectible, rare, or for some other reason is in great demand. These records will have noticeable and significant imperfections, and they will be described in the listing.
