They are protected from getting scratched/damaged during the scanning process. Light scratches that are seen on the scans are on the penny sleeve and not the card in most cases. Also some images may seem a bit warped from the scan. This is not an error card unless stated. I am trying to fix it so this doesn't happen, but some may get through with this bulk listing process. *Most cards are listed as Excellent to be sure the card is not over valued.
