Description: A Vintage 25" Taxco Mexico Necklace Sterling Silver Beads and Blue Sodalite Cubes A 25" Taxco Mexico Necklace Sterling Silver Beads and Blue Sodalite Cubes Description: This long, heavy necklace consists of 36 Sterling Silver beads and 11 cubes of Sodalite (that look like lapis lazuli) strung together on a silver chain. It is 25" long, not including the clasp, and weighs 130 grams. The sterling beads range from 9mm to 17mm. There are 10-9mm, 6-11mm, 12-13mm, 6-15mm and 2-17mm beads. It is in Very Good Vintage Condition. None of the beads are dented or bent. The sodalite cubes are not nicked or chipped. I gave the beads a light polish, but there are areas on many of the beads that remain tarnished and will probably require more polishing depending on your taste. The 11 Sodalite cubes measure from 10mm to 16mm. The chain is held with a slide or tab clasp. It is marked on the clasp with "Taxco Mexico 925" in a circle along with "TL-17"? or possibly "TL-12"?.
