Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Offering a set of four antique, 19th century bronze and champleve cloisonne, covered Chinese salt cellars. These each measure 1.5” in height and 2” in width. There is no origin or makers mark stamped anywhere but they are clearly Chinese pre export era. The cloisonne is a marvel of tiny sections of intricate champleve and appears to be complete. The pattern is a bright blue dragon with the heavens above him on the lid and the gardens of the earth below him represented by flowers. One salt cellar has some wear to the blue interior enamel. This same piece also has a dented handle on the cover and one leg that is firmly attached but slightly askew. The spoon here also is slightly bent. The other three salt cellars just have random dents. These four are quite old with over 100 years of wear, but still eminently usable. FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!
