Once established this mix is designed to attract butterflies and hummingbirds from spring through fall. Flowers varieties create a meadow like effect when planted in mass. Mix contains a variety of annual and perennial seeds. Asclepias tuberosa - Butterfly Milkweed Callistephus chinensis - China Aster Centaurea cyanus - Bachelor's Button Cheiranthus allionii - Siberian Wallflower Clarkia amoena - Godetia Coreopsis lanceolata - Lanceleaf Coreopsis Coreopsis tinctoria - Plains Coreopsis Echinacea purpurea - Purple Coneflower Eschscholzia californica - California Poppy Gaillardia aristata - Blanket Flower Gaillardia pulchella - Indian Blanket Iberis umbellate - Candytuft Liatris spicata - Blazing Star Lobularia maritima - Sweet Alyssum Lupinus perennis - Perennial Lupine Monarda citriodora - Lemon Mint Ratibida columnifera - Prairie Coneflower Rudbeckia hirta - Black-eyed Susan Salvia coccinea - Scarlet Sage To grow, direct seeding is recommended! Prepare the bed or area you intend to sow seeds. Broadcast seeds evenly over the desired area. Lightly rake in seed to top layer and them tamp them down to ensure they remain in place during rain and watering. Seed should not exceed 1/8" depth ensuring good soil to seed contact but not overly covered. Keep area moist until germination occurs. Can be planted in late spring, early summer or late fall. If sown in late fall wait until temps are too cool for germination in your region, under 45. As spring temps naturally warm the soil the dormant seed will sprout naturally. Please reach out to us with any planting or growing questions you may have! *** Notice to buyers.
