VIGILANTE "The Jinx Saddle" with story and art by ??? and Bob Brown (pencils and inks) (8 pages) Synopsis: A horse saddle acquired a curse as a jinxed object when a notorious bandit is hanged sitting upon it. In the present day, some townsfolk believe it threw miner Jeb Peters to his death, but Vigilante proves the curse to be a fake by using it on his own steed. The cover features artwork by Al Plastino (pencils and inks) of Superman wondering what the secret reason is for numerous weapons being used in an attempt to destroy him.
