Description: Agave X Blue Emperor for sale here. Plant is in 4 inch pot with a single body that is over 4 inch in diameter and near 3 inch in hight. Agave X Blue Emperor is unique cross of Agave victoria-reginae and Agave macrocantha, small, only 2-3 ft in diameter and high, but quite interesting. offsetting agaves with powder-grey-blue elongated leaves that narrow towards the base and are at their widest near the tip. The leaves have margins that have shallow rounded lobes with prominent dark reddish-brown teeth and a black terminal spine. This plant is monocarpic but offsets readily, and suckers tend to remain very close by mother plant .The flower stalk can reach up to 5 ft tall with short side branches bearing yellow flowers.Plant ships bare root.
