Description: AMC Light-Up Dealer Sign This sign is 12 feet long 2 feet tall and 10” wide This is the holy grail of AMC dealer signs and probably one of the hardest automotive signs to find period In fact I cannot find one for sale previously This has the AMC tag on it with the part number Its unrestored, I just cleaned it up a bit with soap, water and some scrubbing The panels are solid, I see no cracks The art work is good, I think the panels are painted on the inside so the art was not exposed to the weather The outside of the panels were clear coated and its flaky in some areas The housing seems free from major damage, I see a few nicks and scrapes but no real damage Inside is quite good has some rust on things and some oxidation on somethings Its missing the lamp Ballast, it used 4 F64T12 D HO bulbs. You can get led replacements for them The top panel is an opaque plastic Its unrestored and fifty plus (?) years old that has been outside for all this time. It still has the mounts from the original sign posts that were torched off. I don't know for sure what dealer this came from. I have owned this for quite a long time over fifteen years I acquired it from someone that had it left behind in a commercial space when a tenant moved out. Feel free to ask questions Yes I will ship this, you make all the arrangements and it will be signed off as "As described" at pick up If you pick it up, I'll help load, wrap it up, etc., and provide beverages at no cost.. This would be a good item to ship via U-Ship if you cant pick it up. I recommend crating this before shipping, I will charge extra for this A complete 1/2" plywood and 2x4 crate add $500, this is several sheets of ply wood and lumber as well as hours of time If you want to ship LTL, I recommend a crate made of 2x lumber with no exposed gaps, add $1100. This will add quite a bit of weight to the sign too. This will make it much harder for a forklift to spear it.
