Description: Vintage OVAL OPAL RING THAT IS SURROUNDED BY OLD MINE DIAMONDS. The ring is unmarked 14k yellow gold but has been tested by a local jewelry store. The opal takes center stage. There are 9 old mine cut diamonds with open culets and 1 modern replacement Diamond. The ring is in good preowned condition. It has not been worn in years,I have owned it over 30 years but it is too big,so I did not personally wear it. The sides of the ring have black enamel as a highlight. The opal could use a redo.,the surface is scratched.The diamonds are odd size,so hard to measure exactly the carat weight,but I am estimating it’s 50 -75 points. The opal and diamonds are both secured with prongs and are secure. The gold and diamonds need a good cleaning. Then you will see way more sparkle and flash.
