The book is is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. It has been recently rebound with new endpapers. The binding is good and strong. The interior is lightly toned from age with some foxing. A very few pages have some minor marginal staining. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, light spot of soiling or grubbiness, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 8 inches by 6 1/2 inches. It is illustrated with 51 plates, which includes the frontispiece and portrait. Please look at all the photos to further note the condition.
