Description: An original graphite drawing circa 1874 from an autograph book of Jacobine Kathryn "Bena" Weibel Parrish, (Daviess KY which includes Owensboro) measuring approximately 3 5/8 x 5 1/16 inches. The autograph book from which this drawing came contained many unsigned drawings and a few poems and signatures, some dated 1874 and others dated 1907. The autograph book cover, the floral and one page with writing are for reference only. The other sketches (for sale in other listings) are of similar quality and attributed as 1874 by Mr. Stivers or Ms. Parrish. The autograph book must have been passed down and used again at the turn of the century by her daughter or granddaughter in 1907. Some information about Ms. Parrish and Mr. Stivers appear below. This was the most likely gentleman based on genealogical research. Last original was Franklin, KY. Thanks for looking.
