Description: Superb, very fine, antique 2 sided color lithographed circa 1890, possibly a bit earlier or a bit later map, produced by W. & A.K. Johnston, either side would frame and display nicely. One side is England (South-West) and Scilly Isles, reverse is England (East). Very detailed and fascianting period maps. The paper is so thick you can't see the map on reverse when looking at the map. Printed at bottom is W. & A.K. Johnston, Limited, Edinburgh & London. Johnston were highly regarded mapmakers of this period. The map is in excellent condition, with a light stain at bottom edge, well outside of map imagery and if framed would be fine.
