Description: This is an antique 1925 Armand Marseilles German baby doll with a bisque porcelain head and composition body. Good antique condition; though there is some chipping and wear on composition body. The baby measures 10" long, and has bent arms and legs. It has a really cute original antique little sweater, pants, and booties set. The doll is a sleepy doll and its eyes open and shut. The stamp on the back says Germany g. 326 B. A. 0. M. (D) R. G. M. 25 The G.B. stands for "G. Borgfeldt." 326 is the mold. A.M. is Armand Marseilles (they sometimes put a 0 in between the letters) The "D" in D.R.G.M. barely chipped off, but this stands for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchmunster or "German Patent." The 25 stands for 1925.
