Description: My late husband purchased this Helmet in an antique store in Philadelphia approximately 40 years ago. It’s been on a shelf in his office ever since. It’s time for me to move on and part with his things.It is 18th or 19th Century. Solid metal with chainmail. The helmet is approximately 17.5” high (top of spike to bottom of chainmail) and approximately 8’’ across. The weight is 2.6 lbs. The condition is antique. I cannot guarantee that the feather plumes are original. Frankly I doubt it but this is the way the helmet was purchased. I am including the glass head stand.
