Description: A 3 3/4 inch tall rectangular-shaped clear-glass antique PAREGORIC bottle with OPIUM. This is a Butte Montana bottle and the LABEL and the EMBOSSING are the same. It is embossed and labeled from the same old drug store with the same old address. It is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating back to 1900.Bottle embossed: "W.C. WILSON / CHEMIST AND DRUGGIST / 1659 HARRINGTON AVE. BUTTE". Note that the label reads the same "W.C. WILSON DRUGGIST ... 1659 HARRISON AVE. BUTTE".Condition: This bottle is in excellent clean condition. It has just traces of age wear and patina, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. PLEASE SEE pictures for idea of overall condition. The label plainly reads "PAREGORIC ... OPIUM 1.9 GRS." Both label and bottle are original and date from the same period. Wilson's drug store was on the west end of Harrington, close to the RR Depot, and it was in business for many years until recent times. I believe it was finally cleaned out and closed up in the last 60 years which explains why you see these Wilson bottles and labels a lot more than most other Montana drug store bottles.
