Description: This is a lovely antique carved wood cigarette dispenser. This box works because the bottom of the box is attached to the lid by hinges. When the lid is opened the bottom of the box is pulled up and pushes the cigarettes up through the holes. This makes it easier to select a cigarette. I have done some repairs to this box. When I bought it, one of the hinges was bent and the hole for the nail that attaches it to the bottom has come apart. I straightened out the hinge and soldered the hole in the hinge. All pieces have been correctly put back together and it now works great. The top of the box has some scratches that maybe could be buffed out. See photo #11 It shows a portion of where I soldered it.
