Description: This antique treasure would have been mounted on a counter of a General Store and used to cut plug tobacco or cigars. This heavy cast iron piece is marked "RJR Tob. Co. Brown's Mule". Made by Enterprise Mfg. Co., Phila USA and numbered 5837. All lettering is still clearly readable including the 1 inch and 2 inch and measuring lines. The blade moves freely. There is paint wear and patina consistent with a piece of this age. Measures 7 1/2" tall x 19" long.
