Description: This is a gorgeous Chinese porcelain gilt handled fish bowl footbath with an ornate navy blue and gold gilt paisley exterior, a beautiful golden rolled rim decorated with glaze "gems", and an exquisitely hand painted polychrome freshwater pond scene inside depicting swimming koi fish . A red, six character Qianlong reign mark in Zhuanshu script within double squares is glazed to the inner circle of the inset base, and a mid 20th century auction sticker is still VERY firmly attached to the underside. This piece is in excellent antique condition. There are some epic reflections on the handles that cause the gold to appear missing. They are only reflections, the gold is in remarkable condition. This appears to have been used as a planter at some point as there is staining on the inside of the piece, I scrubbed it thoroughly with dish soap but went no further with cleaners or brushes.
