Advertised as the DAINTY night lamp in Ca. 1900 wholesaler's catalog. As noted in Smith book, lamp base was also used as a salt/pepper shaker. Acorn burner About 5 3/4" tall overall; about 2 3/8" tall to top of collar; base about 3" in diameter at widest point. Burner thumbwheel easily adjusting wick that is in this lamp as it should.
