Description: Up for auction is an antique Victorian to Edwardian era wall mount wood grooming brush set with accompanying beveled mirror, recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA. It is found in fair to good used condition. Condition issues include 2 age cracks to wood crest, one through a hanger on the back so missing a screw, will need a new hanger. Wood on brushes similar in grain but show signs of use, dirty from being held. Blond wood similar to walnut but uncertain, possibly European.Scratches, veneer losses, particularly along edge, possibly from moving and storage, some paint drips. Dirty. Nice old glass mirror, small chip at 7:00 area, tiny on edge. Interesting grooming set, unusual find. Best guess 1890-1910. Unsigned unmarked. Crest is ~9x15". Hooks come out 2.5" from wall.
