Description: Antique Hand Woven Prayer Rug Rose Pink And Dark Purple Made In France. This is a very thin rug that appears to be hand woven/knotted. Some of the fringe at the ends is worn or missing. It measures a little over 3 ft long and slightly over 2 ft wide. There is some very light spots on the middle of the rug where it is pink. They are not very noticeable. There is also a spot of discoloration on part of the fringe. In trying to research this, I learned that this pattern may denote this rug as a prayer rug. I am not 100% sure however, as I’m not an expert on rugs. Overall this is an amazing antique rug that is in terrific condition for its age! Please see all pictures!
