Description: This impressive, highly carved hall tree is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. This is a genuine old one with all hand carved detail in high relief. Because of its size it will stand out in even a large entry hall. It is made from solid chestnut that is finished to a warm dark color. The wrought iron hooks are solid and strong. The mirror is old and there are slight imperfections in the silvering. Overall this hall tree is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and a couple of old woodworm holes.
